Install 1routers on macOS or Windows
1routers uses an isolated Codex profile so the routing configuration does not overwrite the environment you already rely on.

Install and configure 1routers on macOS or Windows while keeping it isolated from your existing Codex profile.
Before you install
Confirm that Codex Desktop is available on the machine, that you can sign in to 1routers, and that the account has an active API key.
macOS
Download the macOS package from the official 1routers download menu, open it, and follow the first-run setup. If macOS blocks the package, verify the release source before changing any system security setting.
Windows
Windows downloads are now available. Choose the installer for your PC in the official 1routers download menu. While the publisher certificate is being issued, browsers may flag the download as uncommon and Windows SmartScreen may show an unsigned or unknown-publisher warning. Confirm that the download comes from download.1routers.com before continuing; do not disable Windows Security.
Verify the connection
Open Codex Desktop through the configured 1routers environment and send a small test request. Confirm that the selected model, route, and resulting usage record appear in the dashboard.
Before installing any package, verify its download host, published checksum, and minimum operating-system requirements in the release details.
